Today, @cvhawknation had the opportunity to hear from @betterforbella and @stancounty about the dangers of fentanyl overdose and the importance of pledging to stay away from drug use.
Fentanyl overdose is a serious and growing problem in Stanislaus County.
Students were able to pledge in remembrance of Bella and her story to stay away from drug use, especially fentanyl.
If you or someone you know is struggling with drug addiction, please seek help. There are resources available, such as addiction treatment programs and support groups.
To learn more about programs or clubs contact your Student Support Specialist at your school site.

First observed in 1885 to honor President George Washington’s birthday, the holiday now known as Presidents’ Day occurs the third Monday of each February as a day to honor all U.S. presidents. Whether you spend today reading, speaking, thinking, and writing (as sixth President John Quincy Adams encouraged) or in some other pursuit, we wish you a Happy #PresidentsDay, and look forward to seeing everyone back at school tomorrow! 🇺🇸
On this #ValentinesDay, we tried to measure how much we love and appreciate our #CUSDfamily. We broke the scale!
To the students, staff, families, and community who make our 🌎 go round, we wish you love, kindness, and joy in small moments today and every day. 💖💌🥰
Congratulations to new Ceres Police Chief Chris Perry, who was sworn in this evening! #OurCeresCommunity
